325 Vernal, Utah to Fort Collins, Co
Took 40 most of the way. Stopped in Craig, Steamboat Springs and Walden for gas and breaks. Ate in Walden at the Moose Creek Cafe. Quite quaint. Continued on 40 to Poudre Canyon road or rt 14. Amazingly gorgeous! It just keeps getting better and better. The Poudre Canyon nothing but 10-35mph twisties and U's. Awesome! The road in lots of spots had a ton of tar snakes on them, so I naturally slowed down a bit. Besides its hard to ride fast on the turns when your head is looking up and all around the whole time! Met up with 2doggs and Jarhead (members of the speed triple site) and they had a dangler (extra rider they met along the way) They are camping in Fort Collins while we are staying at the Motel 6. Took beautiful pics of the rock formations and creeks/rivers.
