Woke up and ate the continental breakfast at the Super 8. It was actually really good. David and I said our goodbyes to Bill and left about 10am heading toward Colorado Springs to pick up our camping gear that Matt had left at the Econo Lodge for us. We stopped to take pics at Monarch Pass at 11,300ft elevation. We rolled into Colorado springs and ate lunch at Subway. We decided while eating to do the Gardens of the God's on the other side of Co Springs in Manitou Springs. We stayed at the Garden of God's campground in a cabin. It was going to be cold that night and we wanted to ease our way into camping :) We ran to walmart to get better straps to strap down our new luggage of camping gear. We went to the Park and it was astounding to see the rock formations. Beautiful! It was close to sunset and the sun sitting on the rocks were amazing. I sure hope the pictures came out as well as we saw it. We ate Wendy's uploaded pictures then went to bed.
